I do not accept insurance or work with insurance companies directly, but I can provide an itemized receipt or superbill that may allow you to get some reimbursement from your insurance plan if they offer out-of-network coverage. I do not offer sliding scale or discounted rates. The fees outlined above are the same for all patients. Payment is due at the time of service and will be charged to the credit card that is on file.
Lab Fees
Lab fees are paid directly to the lab company. I do not receive any financial compensation when ordering labs. I do not charge a separate fee to review your results. I have no financial affiliations with any lab company.
Bloodwork – Estimated cost: $167-$280 (may cost less if some previous bloodwork already done or if you choose to use your health insurance for a portion of the testing)
Functional Medicine / Root Cause Lab Testing – Estimated cost: $700 -$780 (these tests are not covered by any insurance plan)
Supplements
I do not have any financial relationships with supplement companies, nor do I sell supplements. I do not receive any financial compensation when you purchase supplements that I recommend.
Estimated Annual Costs
The average patient should expect a total investment of approximately $5000 for their first year in treatment (this includes the initial visit, lab testing, and monthly follow up visits).
Patients who are dealing with more complex problems and need more support may require biweekly visits. In this scenario, the patient can expect a total investment of approximately $8000 for their first year in treatment.
After one year, most patients can either “graduate” or enter a lower cost maintenance phase of their treatment.
In the maintenance phase of treatment, a patient might only require brief follow up visits every 3-4 months. In this scenario, they should expect an investment of approximately $600-$800 over a one year period.
Please note that individual circumstances, progress in treatment, and actual costs may vary widely. The cost estimates provided above are based on trends that I’ve observed in the majority of my patients.
